La La Land

It was so cute! I really love that the ending makes sure not to cheapen the expression of love they had for one another, and the montage that plays was tearjerking and heartwarming.

A really visually pleasing film too, and even the music really impressed me, considering I tend to prefer musicals when I already know the songs, i.e., Mamma Mia.

Naturally I don’t really relate much to the premise of chasing your dreams, but I don’t think that was so important in the scheme of the movie — really I think the romance was beautiful and as a love story its so compelling and makes you genuinely feel the pangs, if it wasn’t a little abrupt. The whole movie feels like a memory, and what a great memory.
